Our Story
Who We Are
Kingsport Tree Removal is a locally owned and operated tree service. Our crew handles emergency and storm tree removal, large and hazardous removals, crane-assisted work, dead and diseased tree removal, tree trimming, stump grinding, land and lot clearing, lakefront view clearing and brush haul-off. We believe homeowners deserve a tree company that explains the plan clearly, shows up when it says it will and leaves the yard clean.
How we work is simple. We look at the tree and listen to what you want done. We explain how it will come down, what equipment it needs and what happens to the wood and the stump, and we put that in a written estimate. Then our crew does the job the way we described it. Nothing changes in the plan or the estimate without your say.
Northeast Tennessee shapes how we work. Steep ridge lots, rocky and clay soils, big oaks and poplars close to houses, pines and ash weakened by pests, and storms that bring wind, ice and heavy snow all call for careful planning. A lake lot near Fort Patrick Henry Lake, an older yard in Lynn Garden and a wooded acre outside Gate City each need something different, and we plan each job around the tree and the ground it stands on.
A tree job affects your home, your yard and sometimes your neighbors, and we take that seriously. We keep the work zone safe, protect your lawn and driveway and clean up before we leave. Quality guaranteed. If something about our work is not right, call us and we will come back and take care of it.
How We Work
What You Can Expect
A clear, low-pressure way to get tree work done safely and cleanly.
Everything in Writing
Your estimate spells out which trees are being removed or trimmed, how they will come down, what happens to the wood and whether stump grinding is included. You know what you are paying for before we start, and any change to the plan is agreed on with you first.
A Local Crew That Answers
We work across Kingsport and nearby communities, from Colonial Heights and Bloomingdale to Church Hill, Blountville and Gate City. You always have a local number to call, and our phone is answered around the clock for storm damage and other tree emergencies.
Quality Guaranteed
There is no commitment until you approve the estimate. We protect your property during the job, clean up thoroughly afterward and walk the yard with you before we leave. Quality guaranteed. If something was missed, call us and we will come back and take care of it.
How It Works
Three Steps to a Safe, Clean Tree Job
Getting a tree taken care of is simple. You call, we look at the tree and lay out a plan, and our crew does the work and cleans up.
Call and Schedule an Estimate
Call us and tell us what kind of tree it is, if you know, where it stands and what is close to it, like the house, power lines, a fence or a steep slope. Mention any stumps, dead limbs or brush you also want handled. If the tree is an urgent hazard, tell us right away. Then we set a time to look at the tree in person and talk through your options.
A Plan That Protects Your Property
On site, we look at the tree's size, lean, condition and the space around it, then decide how it should come down: felled in one piece, taken down in sections with rigging, or worked from a bucket truck or crane. You get a written estimate that covers the method, the cleanup, the wood and the stump, and we note anything on the property that needs protecting.
Removal, Grinding and Cleanup
On the day of the job, our crew sets up the work zone, lays ground mats where equipment travels and takes the tree down according to the plan. Brush goes through the chipper, wood is hauled off or left as you asked, and the stump is ground if it is part of the job. We finish by raking and blowing everything clean and walking the yard with you.
